What: cotton, made in Mexico with US components
When: sometime in the last decade
Where: Deseret Industries in Pocatello, ID, (I think)
Why: I wear this shirt all the time. It's comfy, loose, and rather cute. However, it has a secret past. On May 28, 2006, this shirt was immersed in the Thames River, whilst I was still wearing it. I was walking along the Victoria Embankment in London when I thought it would be cool to get a picture of me touching the Thames . . . which is really hard to do on the Victoria Embankment. Luckily, by Cleopatra's Needle, I found stairs going down into the water. Stairs covered in green . . . stuff. Three steps down, I slipped and ended up completely in the water. And awkward and rather nasty baptism - especially when I started itching. I never did get the green . . . stuff out of the trousers, but it washed right out of the shirt. Actually, this shirt doesn't stain. Which is another reason why it is awesome.
